Stereotypes - Stereotypes (Album, CD, 1997)

The Stereotypes were a (seemingly short-lived) Chicago-based hip-hop duo consisting of vocalist/instrumentalist Carla Washington and DJ/instrumentalist Damon Keller. I couldn't find much of anything about them other than that. They were featured on a few Chicago local music compilation CDs, as well as Chic-A-Go-Go: The Soundtrack! --a compilation of various musical guests that had appeared on the Chicago public access show Chic-A-Go-Go . According to the album's liner notes, Stereotypes performed "Time Goes By" on episode 31 in September 1997. There's a still of the performance showing Carla and Damon, but no copy of the recording that I could find. If you have any more info on this group, please feel free to drop a comment.
