Made in about 1963, this is a Höfner/Hofner 173 Solid, made in West Germany. It once was white but has been refinished in red, with preserving its black piping around the vinyl-covered body. Features a 511 pickup in the bridge and two "Diamond" pickups in middle in neck position.
