Tutorial: Making the Tempera Grassa White Paint for Grisaille

This is a follow-on video from the previous two video's (Egg Tempera Grassa for Grisaille- part 1 and 2). In this one I show how I mix up the Titanium pigment to make the white paint in 'Grisaille' oil underpainting. 'Grisaille' (French) is a monochromatic form of painting, dates back to early Flemish and Italian painting, that is executed for its own sake, or as an under-painting in preparation for glazing colors over it. While Grisaille and other Old Master painting methods are less widespread today in the 20th Century, they thankfully continue as an artist technique taught in depth on international painting seminars held by artist; author, teacher, Professor Phil and Mantra Cora Masters New Visions- Mischtechnik Seminars : https://www.mischtechnikseminars.com/ Stephanie Tihanyi - Paintings - Portraits - Commissions: https://www.stephanietihanyi.com/ Follow me on: Instagram:   / tihanyisxm   Facebook:   / stephy.tihanyi
