Top Brand Tractors - CLAAS - New ARION 400 The Claas Arion 400 line of tractors has undergone changes, including Stage V engines, a more powerful TOP model, a new design, Claas Power Management (CPM), etc. The tractors have received more hydraulic power, a large lifting capacity and a large gross weight. The Arion 400 tractors are powered by a 4.5L 4-cylinder FPT engine. The engine uses four-valve technology and a turbocharger with charge air cooling. The new generation of tractors consists of seven models with a maximum power from 90 to 155 hp, generated with the new CPM (Claas Power Management) system on the 440-470 models. As a result, the flagship Arion 470 develops a maximum power of 155 hp. and a maximum torque of 631 Nm (with CPM). Starting with the Arion 430, customers will have the choice of a 16x16 Quadrishift or 24x24 Hexashift power shift transmission. Revershift, a clutchless reversing mechanism, makes it easy to change the direction of travel using the pivot lever on the steering wheel console, as well as, optionally, using the multifunction control lever on the right armrest, which is especially convenient when working with a front loader. Smart Stop is another convenient feature designed to lighten the workload as it automatically disengages the transmission when the brake is applied and re-engages when the brake pedal is released. The new Arion 400 series tractors are available with two wheelbases: 2.49 m (Arion 410 and Arion 420) and 2.53 m (Arion 430-470). In combination with a front wheel steering angle of up to 55 degrees, this provides good maneuverability. The first markets to enter the updated lineup will be the UK and Ireland - in the fall of 2021.
