Phil 2:6-11 Christ, being God, did not consider it necessary to grasp the prerogatives of his divine nature, but on the contrary, he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, and being made in human likeness. Becoming one of them, he humbled himself and in obedience accepted even death, even death on a cross. Therefore God highly exalted him and gave him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus all might bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and all might confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
