COMO SOBREVIVI a 76 km de Natação no Ultra Triatlo Mais Extremo do Mundo !

Imagine spending hours and hours in the water, facing extreme fatigue, your mind trying to stop you, and the challenge of swimming no less than 76 km. That was the beginning of my journey in the Double Deca, the most extreme ultratriathlon on the planet, held in May. In this documentary episode, I take you into the water with me to experience firsthand what it's like to test the absolute limits of the human body. 📌 Subscribe to the channel to follow the entire Double Deca saga and much more! Many people ask me how it's possible to prepare for something so absurd or how the dynamics of an event of this magnitude work. Below I answer some of the main questions about ultra endurance: How to do an Ultra Iron Man or Double Deca? The process requires years of triathlon base training, very high volume training and, above all, unwavering mental preparation to withstand sleep deprivation and physical exertion. How many km are in a traditional Iron Man and a Double Deca? A typical Ironman consists of a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42 km run. The Double Deca multiplies all of that by 20! That's 76 km swimming, 3,600 km cycling, and 844 km running. What is the nutrition like during the 76 km swim? Supplementation is done with microfrequency treatments at the poolside or in the support boat, using carbohydrate gels, isotonic drinks, and easily digestible foods to keep the body fueled without pausing the pace for too long. What is the biggest psychological challenge in Ultra Triathlon? It's overcoming monotony and pain. In the swim, you spend hours staring at the bottom of the pool or dealing with the water conditions, and mental control is what determines who finishes and who gives up.
