SM3DL 100% 4:59:34 Speedrun World Record

Speedrun of Super Mario 3D Land for the Nintendo 3DS. 100% for this speedrun means all levels completed with both Mario and Luigi, all golden flagpoles, and all unique star medals. I do intentionally skip some star medals as Mario and then I collect them with Luigi later, since you have to play each level twice anyway. Also, you need to get a golden flagpole on every level, but you only need to get it once, so you can get it with either Mario or Luigi. The final level will not unlock unless all these requirements have been met for all preceding levels. You are also required to unlock the five shiny stars on the save file, which means no death abuse for a P-wing like you do in all other speedrun categories for this game. This is a requirement that the game itself keeps track of, so it's not an arbitrary decision of speedrunners. Using warp pipes does not count as a level completion.
