Animal Crossing - K.K. Cruisin' for Rock Guitar & Violin Cover || String Player Gamer

The irreverent K.K. Slider has grown an international following of his own. Not bad for a meta-musician from the Animal Crossing series by Nintendo. Also known as Totakeke in the Japanese version, or simply K.K. in the latest games, his hugely diverse repertoire is ripe for covers. This is part of a long-running series of K.K. based covers on my channel. I've wanted to do another rock/metal cover for a while and the funky K.K. Cruisin' definitely fits the bill. In this guitar heavy rendition, I used a lot of heavy distorted guitar textures and leads, which is later on counterpointed by a smooth electric violin. Drums and bass guitar were manually recorded using virtual instruments through Logic Pro X. Suffice to say, I had a LOT of fun shooting this. I don't always get to shoot outdoors so I used the space as much as possible. I also incorporated a lot of Zack Snyder style fast-to-slow-motion editing which turned out to be a lot of fun and fits the music just right.
