Coal Mine Jankowice – Autumn 2023 A 20-minute film offering a close look at the daily operations of the Jankowice coal mine in Rybnik – mainly its surface facilities. The entire video is accompanied by sounds from my dark ambient project DEAD FACTORY, creating a unique fusion of industrial imagery and experimental soundscapes. 📖 About the film: On November 24, 2023, I performed a DEAD FACTORY concert during the opening of a photo exhibition by Marek Locher at the historic Ignacy coal mine in Rybnik. For this special occasion, I created a video visualization that was screened only once – during that concert. The footage was entirely recorded at Jankowice coal mine in Rybnik, thematically linked to the photographs presented at the exhibition. Das gesamte Video wird von Klängen meines Dark-Ambient-Projekts DEAD FACTORY begleitet und verbindet auf einzigartige Weise industrielle Bilder mit experimenteller Musik. 📖 Entstehung des Films: Am 24. November 2023 spielte ich ein DEAD FACTORY-Konzert während der Vernissage einer Fotoausstellung von Marek Locher in der historischen Zeche Ignacy in Rybnik. Für dieses besondere Ereignis bereitete ich eine Video-Visualisierung vor, die nur ein einziges Mal – während dieses Konzerts – gezeigt wurde. Das gesamte Filmmaterial wurde in der Zeche Jankowice in Rybnik aufgenommen und thematisch an die ausgestellten Fotografien angelehnt.
