Danjiri festivals aren't just limited to Kishiwada in Osaka; Kobe also has its own Danjiri festival. However, the Danjiri festival held in May was so crowded that I couldn't get permission in time, so I had to give up on filming there. Instead, I was able to get permission to film at the Higashinada Danjiri Museum in Kobe's Nada district, which was completed last year, so I filmed there instead. I'll be introducing the background of the Danjiri and the intricately crafted, authentic Danjiri floats. It's a bargain at 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for elementary school children and younger, and you can easily spend 2-3 hours there if you take your time to look around.
