POJ Studio x Norm Architects Present the Hinoki Joinery Stool
The first collaboration between Japanese lifestyle brand POJ Studio and Danish design firm Norm Architects is a joinery stool made by multi-generation woodworker, Fujikawa-san. By using the traditional no-nails technique, the resulting work is a clean, minimal example of high-caliber craftsmanship. The precision required can only be executed by artisans with high technical skill; it's a tradition that merits preservation. The project uses locally-sourced hinoki wood, contributing to sustainable foresting by harnessing under-utilized wood. By balancing Japanese and Danish design sensibilities, the stool is at home in any space around the world. Shop the Hinoki Joinery Stool from POJ Studio (https://pojstudio.com/collections/poj...)
