NCCM presents arguments at the Supreme Court of Canada in Harkat case
On October 10, 2013, the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) presented oral arguments to the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) in the case of Mohamed Harkat v. Minister of Citizenship & Immigration. NCCM was an intervener in this important civil liberties case and the organization was represented at the SCC by NCCM Vice Chair Khalid Elgazzar, LL.B. and NCCM Legal Advisor Faisal Bhabha, LL.B., LL.M.
