Suzuki-san has captured the beauty and magic of midnight through the bell-like sounds at the beginning and throughout the piece. The first time I performed this was with the Consouls which you can watch here    • Midnight Rendezvous (Final Fantasy VII Rem...  . I could go on and on about how much I love Zorsy's arrangement but essentially, it was so good that I wanted to try arrange my own version. The melody of Midnight Rendezvous is actually quite short so I could do more experimentation with this arrangement. I was inspried by both The Consouls' arrangement as well as Square Enix's Acoustic Arrangement version. SE's beginning is so good that I had to use it for my beginning as well. The rest was my own development of the melody and harmonies. And this time...I wanted to challenge myself and placed an improv section for myself (and for Helaine). Improv has been something I wanted to work on the past few years and what not a better way to practise then by putting an improv section in your own arrangement :'D. I tried and I hope you like it 😅.
