Irina-Margareta Nistor, agentul secret al Hollywood-ului în România lui Ceaușescu

There was a time when Chuck Norris or Sylvester Stallone were unthinkable without Irina-Margareta Nistor. Her voice had become, for those from Generation X, synonymous with the West and freedom. Millennials then got to know her from shows and festivals, from the front rows of cinemas or, simply, from social media. Some of us delved deeper into the issue from books - hers or others'. I met Irina on June 29, in the garden of J'ai Bistrot, in the middle of the heat and in a new episode of the series "FOR MIND AND PAPLES with Popeasca and Vasile". We discussed - damn it! - about films from the '80s, about how the Securitate made millions of lei from videotapes, about Cannes, Venice or TIFF and, obviously, about gastronomy in everyday life and in cinema, for those who eat movies on bread. "Portii mici" is a shortcast (a video product shorter than a podcast, but significantly longer than nothing). Its producers are Popeasca (Diana Popescu) and Vasile (Dragoș Vasile), two cultural journalists passionate about travel and gastronomy, long-time practitioners of what is today called "storytelling".
