It’s probably the most distinctive track on the band's fiercely vulnerable new album. A melancholic and reflective song Joshua performs with a smile on his face. Indeed, 'Snowbank Blues' is about finding out that tour-life isn’t as glamorous as it may seem at first glance. The ups and downs of the band's day-to-day routine are evoked unfiltered: lack of sleep, self-doubt, anxiety, superficiality. Fortunately, the band's pleasure of playing music is still intact as Josh sings 'Take the stage & put the mask back on the shelf'. However, the song acts as a good reminder that it’s never easy to live with and for yourself when you have so many people to impress each day. 'Well there's coffee in my cup & cameras in my face'. A camera which we tried - as we always do - to make as discreet as possible and which captured this lovely memory.
