Lasko 2-Speed Reversible Thermostatically Controlled Oscillating Metal Box Fan | Initial Checkout

The initial checkout of an old Lasko all-metal fully-featured box fan with 2-speeds, electrically reversible motor, and oscillation. This likely dates back to somewhere in the 1950s. Powered by a Westinghouse motor, which I'm wondering if it has ball bearings. I wouldn't expect it to, but it certainly behaves like it. Several years ago, someone told me these were the best box fans ever made. This is the first time I've used one, even with 70 years of dust inside, I already agree--these may be the very best box fans ever produced.
