BEAUTIFUL Mechanical Chines! Otis Traction Service Elevators at Hilton Midtown in New York City, NY.

Video Recorded on April 9, 2026: While the main passenger elevators are under modernization, the hotel happened to open up the service elevators for the regular people to use, doubling them as auxiliary elevators so that the elevator traffic is efficient during this current situation. These are also being modernized along with the main passenger elevators. While the fixtures were replaced, but they still have the original exterior directional hall lanterns along with the old-school mechanical chime that clearly sounded like an angelic harmony!
