How to Install Hood Struts on your ND MX-5 Miata!

In this video, I show you guys how to add some style and functionality to your ND MX-5 by installing a set of hood struts! All you need is a 12mm socket and 10-15 minutes of time. This kit comes complete with the struts, brackets, and extra hardware. Be sure to check for interference issues once installing these and make adjustments as necessary to prevent damage to the hood, struts, or other components. The orientation of the brackets does matter! I installed the lower fender brackets with the ball mount closer to the front of the car. This yields a slightly larger hood opening angle compared to using the prop rod but does not strain the hood and lift it past its comfortable height. Thank you so much for watching!
