8Th Dececember 2025 marked the 125TH birth anniversary of the legendary dancer Sri Uday Shankar, who is an epitome of creativity in the Indian diaspora of performing arts. To celebrate his immense contribution in the aesthetics as well as creative exploration of performing arts, Prabaha Kalabhoomi, engaged in the holistic propagation of Indian traditional arts, organised a day long Lecture-demonstration program where both the academic & performative aspects of Indian dance forms were highlighted upon. Being in Bengal, Tagore’s varied works & compositions are almost an imperative & integral part in the work repertoire of all dance practitioners and hence the theme of our Scholastic program revolved around Tagore and his creativity. CREATIVITY CONFLUENCE is an attempt to explore "Creativity" .... creativity of thought & execution through literature, music and dance with Five senior Dance masters from different genre sharing their views on expressing Tagore through their work. *CREATIVITY CONFLUENCE*, the brain child of Natyashri Smt Debjani Chatterjee, Director Artistic head of Prabaha Kalabhoomi was an excellent opportunity for practitioners, learners and rasikas to enrich their knowledge & hone their own creative instincts.
