DIY LED Stair Makeover with Motion Sensors

The star of the show is the LED under-tread lighting that is motion activated. For the LED stair lights, I installed motion sensors at the top and bottom of the staircase. I then routed channels under the nose of each stair tread, where I installed COB led strips, which are wired to and LED stair controller installed under the stairs.
