On the other hand, the life of those who only planned to leave for Europe to avoid mobilization may become significantly more complicated. Denmark has already prepared a bill that provides for the impossibility of obtaining refugee status for men aged 23 to 60. The Danish authorities say that they are not interested in accepting Ukrainian draft evaders. However, the question remains open about the position of other European Union states. Will they support such initiatives? Can the door to the EU really be closed to men seeking to avoid mobilization?
