Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Washington, where he is expected to meet President Donald Trump during a visit that coincides with the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham. Ionova also highlighted Ukraine’s shortage of Patriot air defense systems and the need for a more reliable production and supply framework. “A strong air defense shield also creates more room for diplomacy,” she argued, stressing that the key issue is not where Patriot missiles are produced, but whether they can be delivered in sufficient quantities and at the speed Ukraine requires.
