GOOD SUNDAYS EPISODE 23 | FROM THE SHOWS TO THE STREETS In this highly anticipated Episode 23 of Good Sundays, Big J aka Janky J takes you on another full day adventure through Southern California’s lowrider scene — from the San Fernando Valley all the way to Broadway in South Central Los Angeles. The day started unexpectedly when a few lowriders in the Valley told Cali Swangin to follow them… leading us to a surprise stop celebrating Beep’s 70th Anniversary. This hidden gem of a car show featured beautiful old-school lowriders, traditional classics, and a unique memorabilia museum packed with San Fernando Valley history and vintage American relics that brought back memories from another era. From there, we headed to Hollywood Boulevard for a sanctioned lowrider car show where car clubs and supporters from all over came together to celebrate the culture. The boulevard was lined with clean rides, good vibes, and people showing love to the lowrider community. Next stop: El Dorado Park with the Top Cats Car Club for their private family day gathering. This wasn’t a public picnic — just Top Cats kicking back with family, friends, and their rides enjoying the day together. But the night wasn’t over… While leaving the park, everybody started blowing up my phone saying Broadway was getting PACKED and the streets were waiting on Cali Swangin to pull up and capture the action. So you already know what time it was — straight back in the ride and over to Broadway to get that exclusive footage for the people. Unfortunately, like many nights in the city, the cruising eventually came to an end when things got shut down… but not before we captured another unforgettable Sunday in Los Angeles lowrider history.
