Both come from a musical theater background of performing and writing/arranging/orchestrating for the stage. After Josh Reid Mirman has grown tired of playing the same lullabies to help put his son Levi to sleep, and knew if he felt that way, so did other new parents, he reached out to Can Yasar (pronounced John) who worked for taking care of little Levi with an idea of building a new YouTube channel to include both original songs written by Can, and cover songs that both Josh, and other parents, have hummed to get their kids to sleep.
