This is how I am currently making water safe to drink while out on the trail or wild camping. I must stress that this isn't a tutorial or best practice but simply how I am doing it with the limited kit I have available to me. Sourcing non mains water out in the natural environment must be treated seriously as serious illness, and possible lasting harm can result, at its worst death.
