METEORA GREECE 2022. Чудо, которое должен увидеть каждый!

The place is a must visit for tourists. Unique place in Greece. In the central part of the country there is a complex of monasteries of Meteora. Here is a unique landscape, sheer 500-meter cliffs of an unusual shape, on which, for centuries, brave monks built monasteries. In those days, access to the monasteries was carried out only with the help of rope lifts, which made the construction of majestic monasteries almost impossible. It took from 20 to 70 years just to lift building materials to the top of the mountain, that is, it was 2-3 generations of monks. But perseverance and hard work paid off, and today we can observe these unique structures of monasteries built by overwork. There are only 6 (4 male and 2 female), all of them are open to tourists.
