CEILING SYSTEM: 3 VARIABLES THAT INFLUENCE YOUR CHOICE We're used to thinking that all ceiling systems are the same. Spoiler: that's not the case. In this video, I'll take you to a very unusual construction site, a renovation where we had to make a drastic decision: changing the radiant heating system after the work had already begun. Why did we abandon the expected supplier and switch to Messana? It's not a question of "friendliness," but of numbers, centimeters, and technical physics. Come with me through the rubble and plasterboard to understand how a poor design choice can compromise the comfort of a lifetime and how we solved it. 📐 THE WAR OF THE CENTIMETERS: GAINING HEIGHT In renovations, height is everything. Thanks to Messana technology, we gained a precious 4-5 cm compared to traditional "sandwich" panels. Have you ever wondered why the thickness of the insulation can hinder the habitability of a room? I'll show you in detail the difference between: Standard systems: Panel + insulation + plasterboard added to the metal structure. Messana system: The radiant panel is inserted inside the metal structure, at the same level. The result? More space, less clutter, and a much quicker and cleaner installation that doesn't prevent you from living within 2.60 meters. ❄️ COOLING: THE SECRET IS IN THE HUMIDITY Why is the ceiling better than the floor in this attic (which becomes an oven in the summer)? I'll explain the physics behind heat exchange: have you ever thought that comfort depends more on humidity than temperature? Absorption power: The ceiling can absorb up to 80W/m2 compared to 50W for the floor. Outlet temperature: By operating at 20°C instead of 18°C, we drastically reduce the risk of condensation. The Dehumidifier: We'll see together why in the Po Valley it's the beating heart of the latent heat management system. 🧠 THE "BRAIN" THAT READS INFRARED The real revolution, however, lies in thermoregulation. Have you ever wondered why many radiant systems make you feel cold or create condensation? While they all use sensors that only read the air, Messana uses sensors that read surface temperature via infrared. This is what makes the difference between a system that "works" and one that guarantees true thermal comfort, summer and winter alike. THERE IS NO BEST PRODUCT, JUST THE RIGHT SYSTEM.
