Season 3 Episode 23: Jock’s Trial Part 2 J.R. informs Bobby and Miss Ellie that Sue Ellen has been picked up by the police in Fort Worth for drunk and disorderly. Jock talks to Scotty about his fight with Hutch McKinney before Hutch was killed. Jock explains that he discovered that Hutch had putting steers on the black market and a fight broke out after Jock fired Hutch. Jock had even threatened to kill Hutch.
