Technical Surfacing from Autodesk
Autodesk's Technical Surfacing webinar, presented by Uwe Rossbacher, Product Manager for NURBS Modeling/Technical Surfacing at the Manufacturing Solutions Division of Autodesk, was presented on September 21, 2010. The webinar was an introduction to professional NURBS* surfacing and a demonstration of how to evaluate surfaces and users' own level of surfacing expertise. View the recorded webinar in our archive by clicking the above link. Current designers, IT heads, students, those looking for surfacing contractors for their design department and those evaluating the right software will undoubtedly find the webinar valuable, as will those looking to grow their expertise in this aspect of design. Technical Surfacing is the second in a group of three free webinars from Autodesk. Concept Development with Autodesk Alias was delivered in June and Design Visualization will follow in November (registration for that webinar is not yet open). CDN introduced its series of free webinars this year. Other previous webinars have included: visualizing virtual materials; designing interiors with LEDs; using Dinamica microfiber in automotive interiors; and the winners of the 2010 Pilkington Design Awards at the RCA. The webinars are archived and can be viewed at any time. Please contact us if you would like information about presenting a webinar: [email protected]
