When the Brook Dries Up | Elijah Week 1 | FBC Lavon
Welcome to FBC Lavon! We are so glad you joined us today! Elijah's very name means, "The Lord is my God," setting the stage for a life that would demonstrate complete dependence on the Lord. Through Elijah's journey found in 1 Kings 17:1-7, we discover that God's character never changes. God is faithful in every season, whether we find ourselves on the mountaintop or in the valley, or even when the brook dries up. The brook became Elijah's spiritual boot camp, a place of learning faith, trust in God’s plan, and obedience in continual prayer.
