Mobilité urbaine : 375 nouveaux bus renforcent la flotte de la SOTRACO
Thanks to the strategic support of Vista Bank Burkina, the public transport company (SOTRACO) has just finalized the largest acquisition in its history. By financing the purchase of 530 buses, the bank confirms its role as a key pillar of economic and social development in Burkina Faso. It was in this context that Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo officially handed over 375 buses on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Ouagadougou. This new allocation, made possible thanks to the financial support of Vista Bank, complements an initial batch of 155 buses delivered in August 2025, bringing the total number of buses made available to SOTRACO to 530 in less than six months. The acquisition of this entire fleet benefited from financial support from the Vista Group estimated at 44.865 billion CFA francs, reflecting its commitment to the development of urban mobility in Burkina Faso.
