Bridlington Spa ECSC Northern Soul Weekender Sound Crew "The Snake" prank Rob Wicks

After a full Weekend of Northern, Modern and Rare soul spread over 6 sessions, 5 dedicated Rooms and with over 80 DJs performing.The Bridlington Northern and Modern Soul Weekender #7-June 28th, 29th 30th was drawing to a close. The Main Room hosts the Finale party, with the organisers Rob Wicks , Pat Brady and Rob Wigley getting together on the decks for the final two hours. It is a chance to relax, play party tunes and generally have a great time. The Sound crew decided to play a prank on Rob Wicks, by "hijacking" the Decks, Mixer and Microphono as Rob played his first record of the set. The record Holy St James "That's not love" on a crisp USA ABC Demo copy was cued up and ready to go... All people close to Mr Wicks were in on the gag and I filmed this short video of the actual set up ! He's an incredibly good sport, but I watched his eyes "Narrow" when he releaised I knew what was happening--he can also run a lot faster than I can ! PLEASE NOTE..No Sound Crew were hurt during the making of this Video, but Mr Wicks has an incredibly good and long memory !!! I would also like to apologise for some of the shaking on this video , I was laughing so much !
