Protect it. All hope. Seen in the near future, Japan has moved from the Showa era to the Seika era. Now, society is rife with state-sponsored censorship of thought and media regulation. Amidst this, Kasahara Iku (Eikura Nana), a member of the Library Corps, which fights against censorship and protects the "freedom to read," joins the corps and becomes a part of a special task force after tracking down a Library Corps member who recovers an important book that was about to be taken away by censors. Enduring the abuse and harsh training of her strict instructor, Dojo Atsushi (Okada Junichi), she spends her days training hard and working in the library with her superior, Komaki Mikihisa (Tanaka Kei), and fellow classmates Tezuka Hikaru (Fukushi Sota) and Shibasaki Asako (Kuriyama Chiaki). One day, Dojo and the Library Corps receive an order. The mission is to guard the "Arts Festival" venue, where the only remaining copy of the "Library Law Handbook," a "symbol of freedom," is on public display. At first glance, it seems like a simple mission, but in reality, it's a trap set by Tezuka's older brother, Satoshi (played by Matsuzaka Tori), who plans to right a distorted society by disbanding the Library Corps. His plan is to destroy the Task Force. Just as Tezuka intended, the Task Force is suddenly attacked by the "Improvement Squad," a censorship enforcement unit. One by one, the Task Force members are defeated by deadly bullets, helpless to do anything. Will Dojo and his team be able to safely protect the books and their comrades?! Now, with their fate on the line, the Library Corps takes on their greatest battle in history, "LAST MISSION"!!
