INDUSTRY INTERVIEW - ACTOR JAMES DREYFUS - House of the Dragon

Today I get to chat a fantastic British National Treasure of an actor. James Dreyfus is an English actor , Rada graduate, most notable for roles on television sitcoms The Thin Blue Line as Constable Kevin Goody, and Gimme Gimme Gimme as Tom Farrell. Dreyfus is most recently known for a role as the Reverend Roger Jones in Mount Pleasant. His film work includes Notting Hill with Hugh Grant & Julia Roberts and has recently appeared in House of the Dragon. In London's West End, Dreyfus starred in The Producers in 2004 as Carmen Ghia. In 2006, he starred as the Emcee in Cabaret. Your Host - Lance Steen Anthony Nielsen is a four-time award-winning playwright, author, acting coach, music producer, EDM club podium dancer and film director. Throughout his career, he’s worked with some of the best British actors in the industry, including Jason Flemyng, Nicholas Rowe, Danny Webb, Duncan Pow, Lindsey Coulson, Paul Copley, Alicia Eyo, Wil Johnson, Craig Fairbrass, and has numerous other actors attached to projects in development, including Phil Davis, Donal Logue, and Sharon Duncan Brewster. An avid tabletop gamer, Lance has a passion for running huge games for players in a variety of settings. In 2025 he had the honour of directing the short film ALL IN GOOD TIME, which was written by infamous YouTuber Mauler & Produced by Will Jordan (The Critical Drinker) Lance also collaborates regularly with several other YouTube channels including Retro Nerd Girl, Tombi and various panels. His channel, The Outcasts Creative, interviews creative artists across the arts and has a policy of supporting & welcoming small channel content creators onto this shows. He co-founded The Outcasts Creative, an actors' workshop, with actor and coach Dickon Tolson. Together they ran the Outcasts drop-in acting class from 2019 - 2023) - The company also does stage productions, including Borderlands, False Accounts about the Horizon Post Office scandal, and 7 Magnificent Egos, about the making of the original Magnificent 7 movie. His latest novel, the autobiographical Back To Raving at 50 is now available from Amazon.
