Чакры простыми словами: уровни сознания, через призму современной психологии и индийской философии
An excerpt from a lecture by Nikita Anufriev, a teacher at the Yoga Academy. According to Eastern teachings, a chakra is an energy center responsible for certain functions, states, and manifestations of a person. But if you remove the mystical connotation, the idea itself no longer seems strange. We have long accepted the fact that our internal state directly affects the body: stress causes spasms and illnesses, fear tightens the stomach, anxiety tightens the throat, anxiety is felt in the chest, and confidence changes posture, voice, and gaze. Emotions are invisible, but their influence is absolutely real. Modern science explains this through the nervous system, hormones, endocrine glands, and psychosomatics. Eastern traditions described the same processes in a different language—through energy, channels, and centers of consciousness. Essentially, we are talking about the same phenomenon, but from different perspectives. Interestingly, the location of the main chakras coincides with the major nerve plexuses and endocrine glands. These are not "MRI objects," but rather functional centers where the psyche, body, and inner state are particularly closely connected. Yoga has never viewed a person simply as a body. A person is not just biology, but also consciousness, perception, motivation, and the internal programs through which we build our lives. That's why chakras aren't about magic, but about understanding the human structure from within. Traditionally, there are seven main chakras along the spine, from the base to the crown. Each is responsible for a specific level of perception of life. The first chakra is Muladhara 🪷 The base of the spine, the perineum area. This is the foundation: survival, security, stability, physical existence. Here, the fundamental questions are where to live, what to eat, how to protect oneself, and how to preserve life. When attention is here, the primary focus is on support and survival. The second chakra is Svadhisthana 🪷 Lower abdomen. The energy of pleasure, desire, emotions, enjoyment of life, sexuality, and sensory experience. Here, a person seeks the zest for life, comfort, vivid experiences, and emotional richness. Third chakra - Manipura 🪷 Solar plexus. The center of strength, will, ambition, control, and fulfillment. The desire to achieve, win, manage, influence events, and hold a position in society is born here. Recognition, status, and a sense of power are important. Fourth chakra - Anahata 🪷 Center of the chest, heart area. Love, compassion, acceptance, the ability to give and build deep connections. Here, a person goes beyond the personal and begins to feel the value of others. This is the level of maturity, where relationships, trust, and the ability to love without calculation are important. Fifth chakra - Vishuddha 🪷 Throat. Self-expression, words, truth, the ability to convey meaning. Here, it is important not just to feel, but to express oneself through speech, creativity, knowledge, and influence. This is the power of words and the need to be heard. The sixth chakra is Ajna 🪷 The area between the eyebrows, the "third eye." Vision, intuition, strategic thinking, understanding of cause-and-effect relationships. A person begins to see not only events but also the mechanisms behind them. Clarity and depth of understanding are important. The seventh chakra is Sahasrara 🪷 The crown. Connection with a higher meaning, spiritual understanding, transcending the ego, a sense of oneness with life and the deeper laws of existence. This is no longer about "how to live," but about the meaning of life itself. It's important to understand: all chakras are active in each person. They aren't switches, but rather levels of focus. Some people live by questions of survival, others by power and achievement, some by love, and still others by the search for meaning. And this is where we come to the topic of levels of consciousness. In yoga, a person's development is determined not by knowledge and words about spirituality, but by the level of perception at which they actually live. This is precisely what ancient traditions called the assemblage point of consciousness. And this is where true self-understanding begins. 🌐 Subscribe to our Telegram channel in the profile header 👉 Check out the YOGA GUIDE: https://yoga-academy.online/yoga-guid... 🌐 Subscribe to our Telegram channel: https://t.me/+QOMVkoFLPNszMDAy
