SYNOPSIS FILM SHA PO LONG - KILL ZONE (2005) : SPL: Sha Po Lang/ Saat Po Long (also known in the United States as Kill Zone), is a 2005 Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Wilson Yip, with action choreography by the film's own stars including Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung, Simon Yam, and Jing Wu. Hong Kong Police Detective Chan (Simon Yam) has devoted his career to putting notorious Triad boss Wong Po (Sammo Hung) behind bars. While escorting a witness with evidence of Wong Po's guilt to court, the police van is hit at high speed by a car driven by the ruthless killer, Jack (Wu Jing). This accident killed the witness and his wife, but spared the witness' young daughter. Detective Chan is injured with a piece of glass in the back of his head. When the glass is removed, the doctor reveals that there is a tumor in Detective Chan's brain. Realizing that he doesn't have much time left to live makes detective Chan even more determined to put Wong Po in jail. Ma Kwun (Donnie Yen), a detective from another police station is assigned to take over the squad, which consists of Wah (Liu Kai-Chi), Kwok (Danny Summer), and Lok (Ken Chang). All members of this squad are very protective and loyal to Chan, especially since he adopted the child of a murdered witness. Various conflicts then occurred both between Ma and Chan and his men as well as with Wong Po and his Triads.
