You Yangs MTB – Trav's Diamond

Trav's Diamond at the You Yangs is probably one of my favourites. For me it's the mix of sand, rock and timber berms as well as plenty of rock gardens that appeal to me. Because I've only been here a few times, I always get lost and missed the extension after the downhill. This day was no exception and you'll see the edit where we had to back track just after the downhill run. There's actually some killer climbs up a set of rock steps that are worth attempting. I walked the first section but gave the second bit a good go, they're not as hard as they look as long as you commit to it.
