Georges St-Pierre pad work compilation (2007-2015)

Georges St-Pierre working the pads from 2007 to 2015. One of the first solidly technical boxers in Mixed Martial Arts, St-Pierre first began training with Howard Grant in Canada, as well as Trevor Wittman, a former amateur boxer who went on to train other future champions such as Kamaru Usman and Rose Namajunas. Later in his career, St-Pierre also trained with Thailand's Tiger Muay Thai, which has more recently hosted other skilled boxers such as Alexander Volkanovski and Petr Yan. Most famously however, St-Pierre enlisted the services of Freddie Roach in 2010, with the legendary boxing trainer in his corner against Michael Bisping at UFC 217. Although more famous for wrestling and karate, Georges St-Pierre's heavily incorporated boxing into his style during his career in MMA, making use of efficient footwork and a solid jab to pressure opponents and set up counter-punches. In his fight with Bisping, St-Pierre knocked down the Middlewieght champion with a counter left hook, securing a choke that ended the bout. Afterwards, he retired with a record 13 wins in UFC title fights, and is generally regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.
