Briefing : Fragments d’histoire de l’aventure Rafale.

After the success of the Mirage 2000, nothing was guaranteed for the next generation. The conference revisits the initial stages of the ACX study, later renamed Rafale A. It validated numerous key technologies subsequently incorporated into the production aircraft, allowing it to be precisely tailored to its needs. Compared to the EAP, the demonstrator for the future Eurofighter Typhoon, the Rafale offered the unique capability to meet the specific requirements of our armed forces (nuclear and naval capabilities). The presentation explores the operational and technical differences between the two programs, shedding light on the rationale behind their development. The presentation concludes with an overview of the Rafale program's evolution and its future prospects.
