BCL初級編～その5～ 中波(MW)用市販LOOP ANTENNAと自作ループアンテナの感度比較と評価（TECSUN AN-200がベスト）

I compared two commercially available loop antennas for medium wave reception (TECSUN AN-200 and DEGEN 31MS) and two homemade loop antennas (a large shielded loop using coaxial cable and the simple loop antenna I made in the previous video) to evaluate their sensitivity and performance. (The receiver used for evaluation was the REDSUN RP-2100.) The results showed that the TECSUN AN-200 offers excellent cost performance and is an excellent antenna. It can be purchased for just a few thousand yen, has a simple structure, is small and lightweight, and is extremely easy to use. (For Am...n, it would be around 3,000 yen.) Of course, simple loop antennas are also sufficient for normal use, so I encourage you to try making one. However, if you prefer a commercially available product, the AN-200 is the best choice. The DEGEN 31MS is also an interesting antenna, but its quality is somewhat lacking and it is more expensive than the AN-200. This is an easy-to-use antenna for shortwave broadcasts. I'd like to reevaluate it in a future video on receiving shortwave broadcasts. (However, as explained in the video, it differs slightly from the original 31MS, so this evaluation is for reference only.) If using an antenna for medium wave reception, I recommend a loop antenna or a magnetic field detection antenna using a ferrite bar. Wire antennas increase sensitivity, but also increase noise, so care must be taken when using them. (Please note that if used properly, they can be very sensitive.) I'm thinking of eventually making my own large ferrite bar or an antenna using several ferrite bars bundled together. If it works out, I'd like to make a video on it.
