From Premier Inn to the Best Fish & Chips in Southport!

From Premier Inn to the best fish & chips in Southport. In this video I’m staying at a Premier Inn in Southport and using it as a base to explore the town at a relaxed pace. I head out to try what’s often described as the best fish and chips in Southport, take a wander around the centre, and spend some time just seeing how the place feels. I also head out towards Ainsdale for brunch and later check out the abandoned Pontins site — one of those places you’ve probably heard about, but maybe never really looked at up close. It’s a quiet, slightly strange contrast to the busier parts of Southport, and definitely got me thinking. This isn’t a hotel review or a food guide — just a casual walk-and-talk vlog, sharing a stay, a few good meals, and some observations along the way. If you enjoy relaxed UK travel videos, everyday stays, and exploring towns beyond the obvious bits, you’ll probably enjoy this one. Let me know in the comments if you’ve stayed in Southport, tried the fish and chips, or remember Pontins when it was still open.
