First Time on Te Ruru Steep Section: Send It or Crash (Braking Was Not An Option) | Redwoods Rotora

Taking the borrowed Remedy down Te Ruru in Whakarewarewa Forest for what might actually be the very first time! The absolute highlight of this trail is a notoriously steep section right after you cross the wooden bridge. The second your tires roll off that wood, you quickly realize that stopping is physically impossible. The section is too steep, and the momentum takes over—it's a text-book case of "send it or crash."
