Fallkniven Lives: Its Amazing Larger Fixed Blades

Fallkniven fixed blades were some of the first I ever reviewed in TNP. I owned my Fallkniven A1, A2s long before I kicked off the Project many years ago. These are superb quality, proven-tough outdoor blades that have served as a reference standard here. Those knives are convex ground hard use laminated stainless steel woods blades. Time to re-visit the brand and introduce you to equally amazing outdoor and fighting knives in the line: The LamCOS Modern Bowie and the Northern Light Series. You’ll see me working the MB hard and all the data on how it did is here. These knives are expensive but that’s not new for Fallkniven; they’ve always been this way and they are handmade in Sweden. Contact the company if you think Chinese blades are better. The Northern Light series is dripping with 2nd Cool but maintain the same laminated construction and heat treat of the Modern Bowie; core is VG10. These NL series are all gorgeous and pulse quickening. These are really Viking hand swords. All are highly recommended for all POUs discussed.
