This is a recorded talk entitled "The Prosperity of God's People" by Lyman A Swingle. It was recorded using a reel-to-reel tape recorder in the year 1951. What they believe is continuously being tested (1 John 4:1), studied (Acts 17:11), verified, (1 Th. 5:21) well thought out (Php 4:5) and, all as a way of life. Acts 20:20, Hebrews 10:25, Matthew 28:19,20 Thus, as they learn more they may revise certain understandings as anyone would with further knowledge, deeper understanding and as is even written in the scriptures themselves. Proverbs 4:18 These older recordings may relate some of the earlier beliefs Jehovah’s Witnesses once had that have since been clarified and/or revised with further enlightenment. Yet they still contain experiences, testimonies and plenty of scriptural content worthy of preservation.
