Empowering Conservation Opportunities: Targeted AviTourism Training

Join us at Tranquilo Bay Eco Adventure Lodge as we host an inspiring project, "Strengthening and Sustainability of Ecological Monitoring in the Ngäbe Communities of the La Amistad International Peace Park (PILA) - San San Pond Sak Altitudinal Corridor in Bocas del Toro." Spearheaded by CONSA (the Ngäbe Coalition for Food Sovereignty), this initiative brought together members of CONSA and two different communities within the PILA Bocas area for an enriching tourism exchange. Supported by ACD (Alliance for Conservation and Development), CONSA, and ITEC (Institute for Tropical Ecology and Conservation), and funded by PPD, GEF, and UNDP, this project aims to enhance ecological monitoring and promote sustainability. Watch as we highlight the efforts and collaboration that contribute to the preservation of this vital ecosystem. During the exchange, participants use state-of-the-art Kowa Optics equipment to observe and document the rich biodiversity of the region.
