Links to our monthly budget videos and property tours below, chicos. ✌🏽⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ We traded in our snowblower and winter boots for shorts and flip-flops! 🏖️🩴 We are 2 Canadians that sold everything and moved to Mexico on October 14th, 2021 We packed up 3 suitcases each with our then 12-year-old Maltese & hopped on a plane for Cancun. ✈️🏖️🩴 Ok, chicos, in this epic vlog you can join us for a full-day tour of one of the biggest markets in Mexico. We will head out with our guide, Samuel, who was born and raised here in Oaxaca City. He used to run around in this market when he was a little kid with his mom. He knows this market inside and out, and he took us to all of his favorite spots. Now, we did not want to jump around with this video as we wanted you to get the full tour with us. We left it as raw as possible for you all so you could see and hear pretty much everything we saw and heard, chicos. The market is called: Central de Abastos de Oaxaca; it is located at the edge of El Centro (downtown) Location is dropped below, chicos. along with some other links we thought you might enjoy. We left our hotel at 8:30 am; it's best to visit the market just after 9am, as it won't be very busy yet and all the vendors should be set up by then. We had an epic day with Samuel and look forward to our other adventures with him over the next few days. We'd love to have you follow along on this life-changing journey! Let's learn together, friends. 🙏🏽 We will stumble and fall many times, but we will continue to get back up and push forward. 🥰 We moved to Mexico for a slower pace and healthier lifestyle, under the sun in the sand & palm trees!! Making new friends and experiencing a new culture and language. TACOS did we mention the tacos are yummy!! 😋🤤 *Update: everything we own fits into our 4-door car with a topper* 😁✌🏽 We started our journey looking in the Progreso area of the Yucatan, using a realtor. Update: We ended up living in Merida for the first 6 months, then we moved to Progreso. Update: We then moved to Chicxulub and then back to Merida. We then moved to Coatepec and then to Xalapa Veracruz; we are now on the Oaxacan coastline, chicos.✌🏽 Next stop will be Metepec, a town just east of Mexico City; then we head to Cancun for the winter of 2025/26 Hope to see you in Cancun on the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean ocean. 🌊🏖️ You can join us as we travel around Mexico, staying at each location for approximately one year; this way we can fully explore the area. It will also keep our content fresh and exciting for us all, chicos. ✌🏽🎉🎊 Link to all our property and rental tours: ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️    • Property / Rental Tours in Mexico.   Here is a link to our monthly budget videos if you are curious about the cost of living in Mexico. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️    • $$ How much we spend a month $$  #travel #...   If you find our content helpful or entertaining, we'd truly appreciate your support. & be sure to subscribe so you do not miss when we upload our next vlog.
