understanding the ASCENDANT IN 12TH HOUSE synastry overlay 🧵💘

there can be quite a lot of misunderstandings between a couple that has the ASCENDANT IN THE 12TH HOUSE synastry overlay. the house person here tends to do a lot of things unconsciously and hyper-consciously (states of non-reality), while the ascendant person carefully monitors and labels all of the house person’s actions as grounded, intentional and well-thought out. because of this, when the ascendant person reacts to the house person, the house person sees it as coming out of nowhere, and thinks that the ascendant person has started a conflict. they end up in a war of reaction, ultimately leading them to start seeing each other differently because they both think the other is the one that is the problem. this is a very deep and intuitive connection where both parties connect through truly enjoying and savoring the meaningful aspects of life. however, this intimacy leaves them both feeling quite vulnerable and prone to being triggered from what would otherwise be very small acts. the key here is for them both to take some time for themselves regularly, as it’s their desire to be around each other all the time that prevents them from seeing the other’s actions as one’s own as opposed to being a personal attack on the other. once these two can practice un-meshing their emotions from one another, they can enjoy the deeper feelings without drowning in them.
