The Opel Corsa is celebrating its 40th birthday. It's been around for 40 years now. We drive the very first Opel Corsa GSi, built in 1989, and work our way through the Opel Corsa B and Opel Corsa C to the special Opel Corsa 40 model celebrating the small car's 40th anniversary. This is available as a 100 kW electric version, the Opel Corsa-e, and as a 100 hp gasoline version with a manual six-speed transmission. All models share the special Rekord Red paint scheme, exclusive features, and a strict production run of 1,982 units, each with a numbered plaque.
