Emergency Department Triage Process
Every day is a busy day at BCHS. As we’re in RSV season, we ask that you please consider all alternative care options (family doctor, access care clinic, walk-in clinic, pharmacy, Health811, etc.) before coming to the ED with non-life-threatening issues. But if you choose to come to the ED, we’re always here to help. Check out this video to learn how the ED works, why you wait, and the never-ending flow of actions and decisions that are needed to manage the patients coming through for treatment.
