Zoom lecture given for the Athenaeum of Philadelphia on February 17, 2021 Landscape Architect Laurie Olin will present excerpts from his recent book, France Sketchbooks (ORO Press 2020) and discuss the relationship between seeing, drawing, and aspects of how a designer looks at and experiences the world – in this case with a selection of drawings made in France over a fifty year period, from his first trip to Europe as a young architect in 1967 to the present.
